Michael Hinshaw, Managing Director

An innovative executive, consultant and educator, Michael is a recognized authority on brand strategy, customer experience and marketing performance measurement.

With over 20 years experience in marketing, brand and management consulting, Michael Hinshaw has enjoyed a diverse career building, leading and growing businesses, with an emphasis on business-to-business, technology, non-profit and financial services organizations.

His dual perspectives of creativity and business performance – through the lenses of brand and customer experience mapping and touchpoint research – were honed during his tenure as CEO/President of Verida, a publicly traded company with operations throughout North America, and as Managing Partner of international brand consultancy Triad, Inc. He has served on public and private company boards in both the profit and not-for-profit space.

He has been acknowledged with dozens of awards for his work, and has been a featured speaker for organizations such as The American Bankers Association, D-Brand Summit, IQPC and many others. An adjunct Professor of Marketing for Golden Gate University, he has lectured at UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business and San Francisco State University among other institutions. Michael pursued his formal education at the University of San Francisco and the Academy of Art University, receiving a BA in 1985 and an MFA in 1988 from the Academy.
